Job Description:
Join an expanding team of engineers producing a varied range of innovative electronics products that are used around the world by education, hobbyists and industry. We require a self-driven individual to help maintain and expand our existing product ranges and to develop new products.

Your main role will be to develop and maintain hardware and firmware for new and existing products. You will be responsible throughout the full product lifecycle, from initial design and prototyping to release and manufacture.

A good standard of embedded C coding targeted at current microcontrollers (especially PICmicro, AVR or ARM) is essential. The use of PCB design software is advantageous.

Recent knowledge in both electronics design (analogue & digital) and embedded firmware development is required, as is a formal qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent industrial experience).

The successful candidate must have proven skills in problem solving. In addition, the candidate will have initiative and the ability to work effectively and in a small team environment. He or she will have strong verbal and communication skills and excellent written skills, and the eagerness to learn new technologies.
